Dane Thomas, the Chief Product Officer and Co-Founder of Ignition, the world's first client engagement and commerce platform, is highly regarded in the technology industry. With over a decade of experience in building and globally scaling Australian SaaS products, Dane has made significant contributions to the sector.
Following a master's degree in animation from the University of Technology Sydney, Dane began his career in freelance web design and development, eventually transitioning to a user experience designer at Deputy, a then lesser-known cloud-based workforce management and scheduling platform. As employee number five, Dane worked in Sydney with Deputy for six years, and the platform is now widely used in over 100 countries across a broad range of industries.
Dane's work in his role at Deputy was pivotal to his eventually Co-Founding of Ignition with Founder and CEO, Guy Pearson, where he continues to leverage his expertise to drive innovation and ensure the delivery of superior client engagement and commerce solutions.
Unfortunately, Ignition doesn't support payments in South Africa, but it's something we're working on in the future.
