Guy Pearson

Guy Pearson is the CEO and Co-founder of Ignition, the world's first client engagement and commerce platform. Born and raised in Australia, Guy graduated with a Bachelor's degree in Commerce (Accounting), becoming a Chartered Accountant shortly after.

Before co-founding Ignition in 2013, Guy started a progressive accounting firm, Scendar (previously Interactive Accounting). He realized that there was a significant gap in the market for a platform that could help businesses better engage with their clients and streamline their commerce operations.

With this in mind, Guy and his co-founder, Dane Thomas set out to create Ignition, a platform that combines customer engagement, billing, payments and other essential business functions in one place.

Ignition has become a global leader in its space, serving over 6,000 professional services businesses in over 25 countries around the world, managing Billions in professional service commerce each year.

Guy remains committed to his roots and giving back to the community. He is actively involved in various charitable organizations and initiatives and is a frequent speaker at industry events and conferences, also investing into the industry that backed Ignition in the early days and paying it forward.

When Guy is not doing the above, you'll find him at a brewery/winery, near a body of water or with family and friends having a good time.
