Intuit Connect 2025: How to make the most of the accounting event of the year
Every October, the accounting community comes together for one of the most energizing events of the year: Intuit Connect in Las Vegas. For accountants, bookkeepers, and advisors, this is the place to learn, network, and see the innovations shaping the future of our profession.
For me, Intuit Connect has been a constant source of inspiration since I first attended a decade ago. It’s not just about the sessions or the tech; it’s about connecting with people who share the same drive to build smarter, more efficient firms.

Why Intuit Connect matters
I still remember my first Intuit Connect back in 2015. At the time, I was in the early stages of building Reconciled and looking to learn from the best. I went to explore the Intuit ecosystem and understand how technology could help me build a successful firm.
What struck me most that year was just how massive and collaborative the community was. I met accountants from all over the country, and many of the people I connected with at that first event are still part of my professional circle today.
Intuit Connect opened my eyes to what was possible for my firm and my clients. Since then, I’ve attended every year, and each time I leave feeling inspired, re-energized, and ready to take Reconciled to the next level.
This year’s conference takes place October 27–29, at the ARIA Resort & Casino in Las Vegas, with pre-conference workshops on Sunday, October 26. Attendees can earn up to 14 CPE credits and explore how AI, automation, and innovation are shaping the future of accounting.

Plan your agenda
Choose the sessions that align with your firm’s growth goals. The quality of what you attend matters far more than the quantity. Leave space for spontaneous conversations and new ideas — some of the best insights come from unplanned moments.
Network with intention
Some of my most valuable relationships started at Connect. Attend vendor parties, networking breaks, and community events. The people you meet here can become trusted peers and confidants who understand your journey as a firm owner.
Explore the partner hall
The expo hall is where the future of accounting technology comes to life. I discovered Ignition by walking the partner hall years ago, and it’s become one of the most transformative tools for Reconciled.
Be sure to stop by booth #13, where the Ignition team will be running live demos and sharing the latest features designed to help firms automate proposals, billing, and payments in one place. You’ll also find some fun giveaways and the kind of friendly conversation that makes Connect memorable.
Prepare for long days
Bring layers for changing temperatures, comfortable shoes for the long walks between sessions, and essentials like a notebook, charger, and water bottle. Intuit Connect is a marathon of ideas, so take breaks and give yourself time to recharge.
After the event
The real value of Connect begins once you return home. Review your notes, schedule follow-ups with vendors, and share your learnings with your team. Every year, I find that implementing just one or two new ideas makes the trip worthwhile.
Why events like this matter
The accounting industry is evolving faster than ever. Automation, AI, and new business models are reshaping how we serve clients and run our firms. Events like Intuit Connect are where those ideas come to life and where firm owners can learn how to adapt and thrive.
At Reconciled, adopting automation through Ignition has been a game-changer. It has allowed us to streamline proposals and billing, eliminate manual admin, and give our team more time to focus on client success. That’s why I always encourage peers to explore tools like Ignition while they’re at the event.
When you visit Ignition at booth #13, you’ll see firsthand how easy it is to automate your client engagements from proposal to payment, improve cash flow, and scale your firm with confidence.
Connect with Ignition
If you’re heading to Intuit Connect 2025, come ready to learn, connect, and be inspired. Engage with the sessions, explore the partner ecosystem, and take advantage of every opportunity to grow your network and your business.
Spotlight: Women in Accounting Connect
One of the gatherings I know many are looking forward to this year is Ignition’s Women in Accounting Connect, a community conversation hosted by Ignition that celebrates leadership and connection within the profession.
The session will bring together Carla Caldwell, Founder and CEO of Caldwell Consulting & Training, and Al-Nesha Jones, CPA and Founder of ASE Group. Together, they will share stories and perspectives on leadership, mentorship, and what meaningful change looks like for women in accounting today.
When: October 28 at 5:15 PM
Where: The Idea Exchange (look for the Women in Accounting banner)
Whether you attend to learn, connect, or simply listen, it is the kind of conversation that reminds you why community matters. These moments of reflection and shared experience are what make Intuit Connect special — they are the threads that strengthen our profession.
