ON-DEMAND WEBINAR 5 Mar 2026

As April 2026 approaches, engagement letters can no longer be treated as one-off admin. Regulatory expectations are rising, clients expect greater transparency, and Making Tax Digital is shifting relationships to a year-round rhythm that demands clearer scope and documented responsibilities.

This is your reset moment. In this practical, compliance-focused session, Peter Morgan FCA, Key Account Manager at Ignition, will show you how to turn engagement renewals into a structured, scalable process that protects margins, strengthens compliance and runs efficiently inside Ignition.

What we'll be covering:

In this practical session, you’ll learn how to:

  • Treat engagement letters as a compliance safeguard
Define responsibilities clearly, align services to regulatory expectations and protect your firm from disputes.

  • Run a structured year-end engagement reset
Update scope, terms and pricing in one clean, controlled renewal process.

  • Implement fee increases with confidence
Link pricing to scope and eliminate friction during renewal conversations.

  • Prevent scope creep before it starts
Use clear inclusions and exclusions to stop unpaid work slipping through.

  • Make your engagements MTD-ready
Clarify quarterly responsibilities, digital record keeping obligations and information deadlines.

  • Operationalise the entire process inside Ignition
Standardised templates, scalable renewal proposals, automated acceptance and upfront payment capture.
