David New, better known as Dave, is a highly experienced professional with more than 25 years of experience in the accounting technology industry. Having held senior leadership positions at Xero, Receipt Bank (now Dext) and Spotlight Reporting, no-one knows the accounting tech space quite like Dave. He is currently the Managing Director for APAC at Ignition, which is the world's first client engagement and commerce platform. Despite being labeled an "industry veteran", Dave is constantly on the lookout for ways to improve business processes.
Born and raised in Bondi, Australia, Dave has a deep connection to the beach and the outdoors. He is a passionate sports fan, and when he's not working, he can often be found skiing down the slopes or kicking a ball around with his two boys.
Dave's primary focus is helping professional services firms and small businesses to operate more efficiently. He believes that life is too short not to make the most of every moment, and he is committed to helping his clients maximize their potential. With his extensive industry knowledge and experience, Dave is a valuable asset to Ignition and its clients.

Rebecca Mihalic is a Fellow of the Chartered Accountants Australian and New Zealand and an Australian Registered Tax Agent. She has been working in public practice since 2003. Rebecca was a co-founder of Aptus Accounting & Advisory which was named the 2018 Innovator of the Year at the Australian Accounting Awards and is now a director of businessDEPOT, the 2022 Multiservice Firm of the Year. Rebecca has earned a reputation for her leadership, passion and commitment to the accounting industry and recently won 'Thought Leader of the Year' in the prestigious 2021 Australian Accounting Awards
