Beyond his professional accomplishments, Matt is a devoted family man who enjoys exploring his hometown, Toronto, and the world, with his wife and two sons. He has a passion for adventure and seeks to broaden his horizons by experiencing different cultures - especially traditional food and drink.

However, Matt's favourite activities are snowboarding and hiking with his family. The Kanas boys have a particular interest in discovering the local wildlife, especially salamanders at the family cottage. For Matt, these excursions represent cherished opportunities for quality family time.
